[6423] Systems Engineer (CIS Security Accreditation)

Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium

Requirements
• Currently active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a relevant discipline plus 3 years of post-related experience.
• Alternatively, in exceptional circumstances, a university degree may be substituted by at least 10 years of extensive and progressive experience relevant to the role.
• At least 3 years of experience in Security Accreditation of major CIS acquisition and/or development projects within a large organisation.
• At least 3 years of experience with security risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• At least 3 years of experience in the planning, design and implementation of security components for major CIS.

Desirable
• Master's degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of NATO Security Policy and supporting directives.
• Knowledge and experience with the PILAR risk assessment tool.
• Experience working in an international environment comprising military and civilian personnel.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organisational structure, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).

Duties & Role
• Provide security accreditation advice and guidance to NCI Agency project and system managers and contractors throughout the lifecycle of NATO CIS.
• Conduct Security Risk Assessments (SRA) to support security accreditation of NATO CIS.
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities affecting NATO CIS assets, determine residual risks and provide risk management recommendations.
• Identify, plan, develop, request and manage the production of required security accreditation documentation, including:
o CIS Description
o Security Accreditation Plan (SAP)
o Security Risk Assessment (SRA) Report
o Security Requirement Statements (SRSt)
o Security Operating Procedures (SecOPs)
o Security Test and Verification Plan (STVP)
o Security Test and Verification Report (STVR)
• Draft and review SSRS, SecOPs, STVP and STVR templates, presenting draft documentation to customers and incorporating feedback and required improvements.
• Witness security testing in accordance with approved STVPs.
